President

As President and Founder of Capstone, Brad leverages his thirty plus years of systems engineering leadership supporting DoD organizations covering MDA, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines on major system development, and advanced technologies/concepts development.

Brad cross-Service Joint Tactical Integrated Fire Control (JTIFC) and Joint CID feature-level data fusion advanced prototyping and demonstrations. 

He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.

Chief Operating Officer

Mark leverages decades of experience to drive Capstone’s operational excellence and strategic growth. He is located in the Huntsville office.

With a distinguished career spanning over 40 years, Mark brings significant expertise in engineering, operations, business development, and executive management as a contractor supporting the Department of Defense.

Mark, a certified Project Management Professional, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Moravian University, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Auburn University.

Chief Financial Officer / Contract Manager

Melanie is the CFO and Contracts Manager, bringing strategic financial leadership and extensive experience in financial management and reporting. She excels at navigating rapidly changing financial and regulatory environments, consistently identifying and implementing long-term strategies to optimize expenditures and achieve budget objectives.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Troy University and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Treasurer

Melissa is the Treasurer for Capstone. She is responsible for core financial operations and the strategic direction of branding initiatives. She plays a vital part in maintaining fiscal health and shaping the company's brand narrative.

She is a proud graduate of Auburn University and effectively applies her academic foundation to the practical demands of her role.

MDA/OSD Group Manager

Sean Grunwell is the MDA/OSD Group Manager.  He has more than 30 years of experience in Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Command and Control systems.  Prior to joining Capstone, Sean served 25 years in the US Navy and commanded the USS STOCKDALE (DDG 106).

Sean graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering in 1997.  Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.

Chief Engineer

Rob Jesionowski is a highly experienced Chief Engineer with 35 years of experience, specializing in Guidance Navigation and Control of space vehicles and missiles and Tracking Systems and Estimation. His career has focused on tracking and estimation in support of missile defense and autopilot and vehicle design of space systems. They have a proven track record of success in analysis of complex systems.

He hold as BAS in Aeronautical Engineering from New York University Polytechnical School of Engineering.

Air Force Group Manager

Joe is the Air Force and CCMD Group Manager. providing operational experience to the technical, engineering and acquisition elements that support USAF and Combatant Command initiatives in other portfolios within Capstone. He brings over 25-years of experience Master Air Battle Manager.

He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a MAS in Space Operations Management from Embry Riddle.

Army Group Manager

Tony is the Army Group Manager. He brings 23 years of experience in DoD Weapon System acquisition, with deep expertise in modeling and simulation, performance analysis, and system engineering. As Chief Architect for the Guam Defense System, Tony delivers exceptional technical and engineering support to our customers.

He holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Huntsville.

Navy / USMC Group Manager

Kurt is the Navy and US Marine Corps Group Manager. His distinguished 24-year career as a Surface Warfare Officer includes command of the USS PREBLE (DDG 88) and USS BUNKER HILL (CG 52). During his tour on the BUNKER HILL, he served as the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Commander. He is instrumental in providing operational experience to the technical, engineering, and acquisition elements that support both the Navy, Marine Corps, and elements of other portfolios within Capstone.

He holds a BS from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s of Arts in Foreign Policy from the Naval War College.

NASA Group Manager

Brad is the NASA Group Manager. He is a retired NASA civil servant and former Marshall Space Flight Center CIO, Brad brings 37+ years of IT and Cybersecurity leadership. With an Electrical Engineering degree from Auburn and FAC-P/PM certification, he focuses on growing Capstone's services within the NASA sector.

Brad has a B.S. om Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and is FAC-P/PM certified.

HR Manager

Rhonda Wingenter is the Human Resources Manager for Capstone. She brings 17 years of dedicated HR experience to her role. Rhonda is instrumental in overseeing all facets of human resources, including recruiting, benefits administration, onboarding, and fostering high employee satisfaction. Her extensive experience ensures the strategic management of the company's most valuable asset: its people.

She holds a PHR Certification and is a proud alumna of Auburn University.
